The CAP electronic Cancer Protocol (eCP) Data Dictionary is designed for non-profit research, public health, and quality measure projects. The Data Dictionary is an Excel spreadsheet that allows users to analyze discrete pathology data within eCP-sourced data sets. It includes the lineage of each template (e.g.,Adrenal.Bx.Res), template version, template version identifier, unique data identifiers for Questions and ListItems, and visible text for each item. It also provides the sort order and parent-child hierarchical linkage structure for each item to help organize the data correctly.
